Biography

Carol has completed the Nia White Belt, Blue Belt, 52 Moves, White Belt Level 1 (Art of Teaching), Brown and Black Belt training. Carol is based in Yamba, NSW.

“Finding Nia was like discovering parts of myself that I never knew existed! I have always loved to dance and Nia allows me to explore that passion, but it is so much more. Immersing myself in Nia has helped me discover who I am, connecting with my spirit, emotions and life force. Since retiring to the beautiful seaside community of Yamba, I have had the opportunity to nurture my health and my body through body boarding, yoga, golf and Nia! Being mentored through the White Belt training has given me so many insights into the richness and beauty that is Nia. As I continue my training I’m looking forward to receiving the gifts that it will bring.

Having the opportunity to share Nia with my Yamba tribe has been such a joy. Seeing the smiles on their faces as they move their bodies through dance gives me a strong sense of satisfaction. We are all embracing our strength, well-being, co-ordination and creativity together, as a community. We welcome everyone with open arms and look forward to meeting each week for a fun-filled hour of dance, Nia style!”
