Lorraine has been drawn to a sense of self inquiry for more than 30 years, and so an exploration of the different modalities of self inquiry began. These include movement meditation, yoga, sacred and contemporary dance and martial arts.
Discovering Nia in 2010, which meld many of these modalities to the beats and melodies of global tunes, was a pure delight for Lorraine.
Since then she has followed the path of Nia with a passion, taking White, Blue, Brown Belt teacher trainings, plus further Nia trainings in 5 Stages, FreeDance, Moving to Heal and 52 Moves.
Lorraine now holds Nia ArtLife retreats in the South of France and Morocco.

Moving to Heal (M2H) supports people dealing with a range of issues, such as illness, injury, trauma, addiction, and depression to experience mindfulness and movement as medicine. With inspiring music, you will be guided to slow down and personalise movement of your body’s way. It is a positive and conscious path to feeling better. Students who wish to participate while seated in a chair are fully supported.
