Nia 52 Moves – Online Class

Welcome to our online Nia community where people of all ages, fitness levels and backgrounds come together to feel better through movement.  We’d love you to join us for an hour of soul-nourishing, body-enlivening, Joy-full music and movement, in your own home.  With permission to do it the way that feels right for you, Nia will leave you feeling more energised, clear-headed, calmer and connected. 

Kick off your shoes and slip into something that makes you feel good while you move. (If there are physical reasons not to practise barefoot, soft sole shoes can be worn.)

Make sure you have some clear floor space around you to move safely. You might like to have a towel or yoga mat for when we move, stretch and rest on the floor towards the end of class. 

Nia 52Moves Practice + Play:

Nia 52Moves is fun, body-brain fitness, ideal for beginners and seasoned students. The class format blends mindful awareness with cardiovascular conditioning and whole-body connection in one-minute intervals with each move. Receive movement details and tips to learn and improve your skill in Nia’s 52Moves as you listen and dance to the music.
 
You’ll be somatically coached by Sophie (moving gently as I heal a foot fracture) giving you plenty of opportunities to get into your own body as you move energise and get creative in YOUR unique way. Learn to activate your Conscious Personal Trainer for cooperative purposeful transformation!

In each you can choose whether to have your video on or off and there’s the option to stay online afterwards for a chat. If you haven’t already,  you’ll need to download the Zoom app
