Nia 5 Stages + Nia combo – Online Class

Welcome to our online Nia community where people of all ages, fitness levels and backgrounds come together to feel better through movement.  We’d love you to join us for an hour of soul-nourishing, body-enlivening, Joy-full music and movement, in your own home.  With permission to do it the way that feels right for you, Nia will leave you feeling more energised, clear-headed, calmer and connected. 

Kick off your shoes and slip into something that makes you feel good while you move. (If there are physical reasons not to practise barefoot, soft sole shoes can be worn.)

Make sure you have some clear floor space around you to move safely.

This 1 hour class begins with 30 minutes of Nia 5 Stages – floor-based movement medicine for your body and soul that has the power to re-pattern, realign, self- heal, strengthen, condition and increase energy flow throughout the body. (Recommendation: knee pads and/or pillows or a blanket.) 
 
You’ll feel centred and embodied as we step into 30 minutes of Classic Nia® – a mindful movement practice that invites you to kick off your shoes, get out of your head and move your body in a safe grounded and joyful way! You’ll be guided to connect to sensations of  pleasure and aliveness for whole body conditioning and self-healing. Nia’s unique combination of steps, stances and kicks will playfully stimulate your body-brain fitness.
 
 
Class times are in Brisbane AEST.  Convert to your time zone.  Class is recorded and available until midnight AEST (same day).
