Biography

Sarah has completed her White Belt Training under the direction of Sophie Marsh. Sarah has danced Nia in Beijing, Cambodia and now, Australia, and is based in Melbourne.

“To dance Nia is to open oneself to expression, power, tenderness, Joy, vulnerability and strength. The simultaneous conditioning of the dancer’s body, mind and spirit is undeniable when they move through the 52 moves and allow the music to inspire their movement.

I found Nia in Beijing and have never looked back. It has been a place where I could be myself and to love myself for who I was everyday. It is this gift of Joy that I want to share with men and women in my community!”
