Biography

Jen has always been drawn to well-being, aligning her lifestyle to mind-body fitness having been a student of yoga, tai chi and meditation.  She believes that ‘you are what you eat’ and that ‘food can be your medicine’ and in 2010 she wrote and published ‘The Leaving Home Cook Book’.

Jen loves teaching Nia. She has found the practice to be a wonderful benefit in both body fitness and mind happiness.  It’s something she wanted to share with others as she believes firmly that everyone can benefit from Nia and so she gained her teaching qualification through White Belt training and now co-teaches with Kerryn & Laurien at two lovely Canberra locations; Belconnen Arts Centre on a Wednesday evening starting at 6pm and Weston Creek Uniting Church Friday mornings at 9.30am.

Come along and find out what Nia is all about!  Jen has completed her Nia Blue Belt and ‘5 Stages training’ a practice designed to facilitate optimal alignment, improved function and comfort in the body.
