Biography

Angie has completed the Nia White Belt and Moving to Heal trainings. Angie is based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

Angie knew from her first class she’d found something special, that freedom and joy of movement which had been missing for so long. For over 6 years Angie has worked towards becoming a Nia teacher so that she can share her love of Nia with you.

Angie’s passion brings a holistic fitness approach to Nia. Allow your body, mind and spirit to re-connect to your inner child through movement in a joyful and playful way. Experience the freedom, leave all distractions behind and explore the sensation of music and movement in your own body’s way. Angie’s comfortable and enjoyable approach to Nia suits any experience and fitness level.

Pricing and Details

Casual $17. New to Nia $30 for 3 classes (1 month expiry). Class pass $75 for 5 classes (2 months expiry).  Please bring a mat and drink bottle.  Bookings required, join anytime, everybody welcome.

For Nia feel free to wear any exercise or comfortable clothing that makes you feel good and free to move. Bring along a water bottle and a towel or yoga mat if you have one. Nia is designed to be practised barefoot. If there are physical reasons not to practice barefoot, soft sole shoes can be worn.

Classic Nia class is a sensory-based, cardio movement class to music that blends 52 moves with martial arts, dance arts, and healing arts – body, mind and spirit. All fitness levels welcome.  No experience necessary.
