For Nia feel free to wear any exercise or comfortable clothing that makes you feel good and free to move. Bring along a water bottle and a towel or yoga mat if you have one. Nia is designed to be practised barefoot. If there are physical reasons not to practise barefoot, soft sole shoes can be worn.

Classic Nia
Barefoot, conscious, fusion fitness to soul-stirring music, where every movement can be adapted to individual needs & abilities. Combining martial arts with dance and healing modalities, this multi-dimensional, self-healing workout is all about sensing the Joy of movement. No prior experience necessary.

Move IT
A 60-minute Nia class based on the science of interval training. Participants shift from one move into the next every 60-seconds, progressively moving through all of the 52 moves. Within each 60-second cycle, students are encouraged to self-guide their movement, modulating range of motion, energy dynamics and intensity levels to achieve aerobic, anaerobic, reflexive, and voluntary conditioning.

Beginners with little or no movement skills and seasoned athletes alike, isolate single moves as they simultaneously integrate the whole body. This class offers excellent cross-training opportunities by utilising the base, core and upper extremities. Students are encouraged to take the class barefoot.

Moving to Heal
A therapeutic Nia group exercise class that supports people dealing with a range of issues, such as short or long term illnesses, recovery from injury, trauma, or addiction, and depression. Increase energy & relaxation while learning to adapt movement to your health needs. It’s an “I feel better” experience.
